with a visit to the Beautiful and Dramatic Maro Waterfalls.
This is an absolutely magnificent and laid-back peaceful boat trip to be had with us aboard our exquisite, newly built, spacious and very comfortable modern Italian power boat.
We do not mix clients from different groups on our trips.
The trip is exclusively for you, your family and friends, a private and personal boat trip.
(Note! Beach drop-off is totally dependent on weather / sea surf conditions. Safety first.
This is not a 4 hour trip when including the Beach drop off, only with the return trip to La Caleta Marina is it then a 4 hour trip.
The trip starts out heading East out from the La Caleta Marina in the direction of Torrox, Nerja with amazing sightseeing along the way and feasting one’s eyes at the rugged pristine scenery and of course, keeping a keen eye out for the dolphins who are now out and about.
As we make our way sightseeing along the coast towards Burriana Beach and on to the amazing Maro Waterfalls and the pristine waters of the Cerro Marine Reserve Park.
Dolphins can often be seen along the Axarqúia coast and as we pass by and around the Torrox Lighthouse passing on further to the amazing Balcony of Europe (Balcón de Europa) at Nerja.
This is a most majestic, large round balcony, perched high up on a cliff in the seaside town of Nerja. The site of the Balcony was originally home to the watchtowers of a 9th century defensive fortification, used by the moors to monitor the coastline and protect against pirates, smugglers and marauders sailing around the southern Spanish coastline.
We then travel a little further East along the coast arriving at the fabulous clear and pristine waters of Maro Waterfalls after passing by Burriana Beach/Nerja.
At the Maro waterfalls you can swim if you so wish and then we head back west for 10 minutes in order to arrive at the spectacular Burriana beach for disembarkation. There are far safer safer and calmer alternatives along the coast that the Captain knows and can take you to for a very pleasant relaxing swim without the buzz of Jet Skis around you.
Talk to the Captain and he’ll give you other suggestions.
Complimentary large, fresh beach sized towels are provided if you should decide for a swim
