THE NERJA BOAT TRIP departs from our base at the La Caleta Marina located between Torrox and Torre Del Mar, some 14 minutes from Nerja. On leaving the marina we head eastwards out of the marina going along the stunning Axarquia coast passing by the small and beautiful Spanish seaside villages of Algarrobo, Mezquitilla, Lagos, El Morche which are tranquil small bays along the coast in calm and safe locations, perfect for children to swim and play.

A great location to anchor the boat, swim ashore if you wish as the water is only about 5 metres deep, clear and clean and just a short 5 minutes swim from the beach. A wonderful spot to anchor up and chill out.

Dolphins.

While heading eastbound on our trip towards the Maro Marine Park we’ll be keeping a keen eye out for the dolphins. Two of the most common species of dolphins in this area being the bottle nose dolphin and the striped dolphin. Dolphins can be seen all along this part of the Axarqúia coast sometimes as we pass along the coast, if they are out and about!

Captain and fuel are included in the trip along with complimentary drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, nibbles and freshly made sandwiches and fresh clean towels are provided for your use during the trip

GENERAL INFORMATION.

WHERE WE ARE.  We are based at the La Caleta Marina, Vélez- Málaga east from Malaga and a 14 minute drive from Nerja. For further driving directions from your location click here. The La Caleta Marina where we are based is located in Axarquia which is a village in the Spanish province of Malaga.  Axarquia is a small province at the bottom of Andalucía’s coast and is located 35 kilometres east of Malaga (EXIT 274) along the A7 motorway and 5 minutes drive from Torre del Mar.

Equipment on the boat.  Internet. Garmin Navigator, depth sounder, GPS, Hydro-static automatically inflating life jackets, flares, ship to shore radio. Satellite phone.

Life jackets are top quality and available for everyone.

The boat has a swim ladder that allow for easy-on-easy-off access in and out of the boat from the sea when swimming from the boat.

Fresh Complimentary Beach towels are supplied during your trip.
